چکیده
The photoelectric effect is one of the fundamental experiments that established basis quantum mechanics. Students studying this experiment in modern physics courses struggle to understand what it actually measured and why significant. This lesson built around PhET interactive simulation experiment. activity involves use open-source online carry out simulated exploring emission electrons from metal surfaces when light shone on them, compare those results with predictions classical theory its interactions matter. shows Einstein’s interpretation needed explain observed behavior. complete a worksheet guides them through comparison observations matter interactions. Then they are given interpretation, including analogies help develop their understanding. presentation supported by having students answer discuss set questions small groups. has achieved greatly improved student mastery how shaped physics. Teaching Quantum Theory - between the Photoelectric Effect and Quantum Information
Quantum theory as a basic physical theory has to be part of the physics education at school. At least the most fundamental features and principles of it have to be conveyed to the students. However there is no general consensus and a certain uncertainty about the main focus of teaching. One striking difference between classical and quantum physics is represented by the nature of physical object...
متن کاملTeaching Undergraduate Software Engineering Using Open Source Development Tools
Software engineering is a key topic in computing education. Many schools offer a projectoriented course, or multi-course sequence, to teach students both the theoretical concepts of software development as well as the practical aspects of developing software systems in a team environment. Typically, in these courses, students practice the principles of requirements analysis, project management,...
متن کاملCVSim: An Open-Source Cardiovascular Simulator for Teaching and Research.
CVSim is a lumped-parameter model of the human cardiovascular system that has been developed and used for research and for teaching quantitative physiology courses at MIT and Harvard Medical School since 1984. We present a brief historical background of lumped-parameter cardiovascular system models, followed by an overview of the development of the major versions of CVSim over a 25-year period ...

Language is a very powerful tool for mutual understanding between people. In the increasingly globalized society we live in, there is great importance and interest in learning languages other than one’s own mother tongue. Computer based teaching tools provide a potent medium through which such demand can be met conveniently. Shikshaka, a computer based teaching framework was developed for teach...
